When you use Codeable, we may collect the following types of information:

  • Account data: name, email address, and profile picture (via OAuth providers like GitHub or Google).
  • Usage data: prompts submitted, projects created, models used, and token consumption.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information.
  • Payment data: processed securely by Stripe; we do not store card numbers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  • Provide and improve the Service.
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • Send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts).
  • Monitor usage for fraud prevention and abuse detection.
  • Analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve features.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. AI Prompts and Generated Content

Prompts you submit are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate code. Anthropic processes these requests under their own privacy policy. We store your prompts and generated projects to provide the Service and your project history. You can delete your projects at any time from your dashboard.

4. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Maintain your authenticated session.
  • Remember your preferences.
  • Analyze site traffic (analytics cookies, optional).

You can control cookie preferences through our Cookie Settings or your browser settings. Disabling session cookies will prevent you from logging in.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database and project backups are stored in private AWS S3 buckets. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256). Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

  • Anthropic — AI model API
  • Daytona — Cloud sandbox environments
  • Stripe — Payment processing
  • AWS S3 — Project file storage
  • GitHub / Google — OAuth authentication (optional)

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@codeable.ai. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time. Aggregated, anonymized usage data may be retained indefinitely for analytics purposes.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
